About.com Promotes Nicholas M. Ricci to Senior Vice President Sales and Seashal L. Morse to Vice President West Coast Sales


NEW YORK (June 27, 2006) - About.com announced today the promotion of two leading sales executives. Nicholas M. Ricci has been promoted to senior vice president, sales, overseeing all sales, client services and advertising operations for About.com. Seashal L. Morse has been named vice president, West Coast sales, reporting to Mr. Ricci. Mr. Ricci will report to Andrew Pancer, chief operating officer of About.com. The promotions are effective immediately.

"Both of these individuals have made tremendous contributions to About.com. Nick has done an incredible job of helping to drive our growth in advertising revenue, while at the same time building up our sales force," said Pancer. "Seashal has helped make About.com a must buy in the advertiser community and has developed new and exciting advertising products and strategies for the company. We're fortunate to have both Nick and Seashal on our team and I wish them continued success."

Mr. Ricci joined About.com in 2005 as vice president, national sales. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Ricci served in various sales positions at Hachette Filipacchi Magazines' Interactive Division, Cox Interactive Sales and Times Mirror Magazines. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics/Marketing from Manhattan College.

Ms. Morse joined About.com in 2002 as a senior account executive, managing accounts in the Bay Area and Pacific Northwest. Since 2005, she has served as West Coast Sales director, responsible for developing large-scale strategic advertising projects.

Prior to joining About.com, Ms. Morse worked for Cox Interactive Sales. She began her career at the International Herald Tribune in advertising sales, for the travel and franchise sector. Ms. Morse is a graduate of Johnson & Wales University, with a Bachelor of Science degree in international business.
